✉️ Guide

Set up your email.
In five minutes.

Pick your device below — your mailbox details are already filled in. Stuck somewhere? Ask your question at the bottom, ideally with a screenshot. We reply personally.

Step 1

Your email address

Enter your address — we'll fill in everything else for you.

Step 2

Which device?

Step 3

Then a quick check

  1. Send a test email to yourself — if it arrives, sending and receiving both work.
  2. Check sender and signature: does the new address show up? You need to set up the signature once per device.
  3. Only remove the old account once the new one works. If your old emails are being moved over, wait until we've let you know.
  4. Tell your important contacts that you can now be reached at this address.

Something not working?

The password is not accepted

The username is always the full email address, not just the part before the @. Mind upper and lower case in the password. When copying, a space at the start or end often slips in. Test the password in webmail first — if it works there, the issue is the entry in your mail app.

A certificate warning appears

Check that the server is spelled exactly as shown above (mail. plus your domain). With a different server name the security certificate doesn't match. Please don't just click the warning away — ask us below instead.

Receiving works, sending doesn't

For outgoing mail (SMTP), port 465, SSL/TLS and authentication must be on — with the same credentials as for incoming mail. Some apps default to "no authentication" here.

Sent emails are missing from the "Sent" folder

In your mail app's account settings, under "Mailbox behaviours" or "Folders", choose the Sent folder on the server. Then all devices see the same sent emails.

The iPhone says "Profile not signed / not verified"

That's normal for setup profiles like this and only means the profile doesn't carry a paid Apple certificate. It contains nothing but your mailbox's server settings — no password, no monitoring. You can remove it any time under Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.

Several people use the same mailbox

No problem — everyone sets up the account with the same details. Read/unread and folders are then the same for everyone. Agree on who answers which emails.
